Along Route 1 in Northern California, 17 miles south of Crescent City at Klamath, CA, Belki and Snoopy enjoy Trees of Mystery, a kitchy roadside attraction that thousands of motorists travelers and tourists pass by each year while driving through the Coastal Redwoods and Redwood National Park. You will know it by it’s distinctive Native American Museum and Gift Shop, roadside gardens, and huge sculptures of Paul Bunyan and Babe, his Big Blue Ox.
The site offers an informative self-guided walking tour through an amazing display of enormous old-growth redwood trees and provides an impressive education and appreciation for these rare and inspiring giants of the forest. It also provides a glimpse into the chainsaw artisty of Kenyon R. Kaiser.
