May 14, 2007 – Central Oregon trip to rendezvous with friends Deigh, Nancy, and Bruce for a quick few days of photo outings at Smith Rock, Painted Hills, Steins Tower, etc. revealed this sighting of the Wooley Mammoth in Fossil, OR.
Owner Mike of the Bridge Creek Flora Inn in Fossil shared the very interesting history and destiny of this amazing creature now alive and well on his property at the Inn. A visit to Fossil and especially a few nights stay at Bridge Creek Flora Inn is highly recommended. The food and the accommodations are simply wonderful and down to earth. So are the patrons.
