June 21, 2007, Olmstead Point Overlook, Yosemite Nat’l Park, a solitary pine sentinel punctuates the twighlight summer solstice evening.

Olmsted Point, along the Tioga Pass Road, looks down on Yosemite Valley from the east—and from a very different angle.

Though you might not immediately recognize Half Dome (use the zoom feature in the FullScreen Immersive Version), it is one of the most prominent peaks you can see from Olmsted Point.
