Smith Rock State Park near Terrebonne, OR. Sheer cliffs, the Crooked River valley floor’s glorious views and intriguing sounds of the high desert plateau.
Host to several great hiking trails like the Misery Ridge Trail, Smith Rock is alive with hikers, songbirds, water fowl, hawks and eagles, as well as many rock and landscape hungry humans. Several other animals are also often sighted in this area.
Misery Ridge Trail ascends approximately 1500 feet in 1/4 mile to the top of Smith Rock.
